PGA Tour: 61 powers Scheffler's St Jude win

|
A 9-under 61 in round two of the St Jude Classic saw Scottie Scheffler build a three-stroke advantage through 36 holes and in the end he eased to a whopping eight-stroke win.
|
Five birdies from holes 1-5 in round 2 and three over his final four holes were the highlights of the round. A Saturday 2-under 68 saw his lead trimmed to two shots but in the final round he was in a league of his own.
|
His nearest challengers - Sunjae Im and Sam Burns - flamed out with rounds of 4-over 74 and 73 respectively.
|
Seemingly playing a different course, Scheffler rebounded from a drop at the par-5 3rd with birdies at the 5th and 6th.
|
He strengthened his grip on proceedings on the inward-half with birdies at 11, 13 and 16 in an eventual 66.
|

Si-Woo Kim was alone in 2nd on 9-under after a Sunday 68.

LPGA Tour: Thitikul wins after closing 64

Jeeno Thitikul shot a blistering 8-under 64 in the final round of the Portland Classic to win by one shot from Arpichaya Yubol at Edgewater Country Club.
|
Sophia Schubert led the way with a round to play after sandwhiching rounds of 67 either side of a 66. Her challenge stalled on the final day though with a 71 and she finished alone in 4th-place.
|
There were no such issues for Thailand's Thitikul. She birdied six of her first seven, following a birdie at the 1st with birdies on holes 3-7.
|
Drops a 9 and 12 were inconsequential as she picked up an eagle at the 10th plus birdies at the 14th and 17th.
|

Yubol also made a postive move up the leaderboard with a closing round of 67.
|

DP World Tour: Winther earns home win in Denmark

Denark's Jeff Winther captured a home title when he won the Danish Championship.
|
On a day where no fewer than eight players held at least a share of the lead, Winther rose above the carnage to claim the win.
|
France's Romain Langasque held a one-shot advantage through three rounds after starting with a 3-under 69, a 66 and 67.
|
The final round was less kind. Bogeys at each of his first three holes brought a number of players into the mix.
|
Winther threw his hat into the ring with birdies at the 4th and 5th and although he gave those back at 6 and 8, his final 10 holes more than made up for it.
|
Birdies at the 9th, 10th and 13th ensured he'd be in the title conversation well into the back-nine.
|
The birdie at 13 was crucial to the final outcome given that Rasmus Hojgaard birdied the 15th and 16th before a stunning eagle-3 at 17 though a drop at the last undermined his challenge in the end.
|

Winther on the other hand eagled the par-4 16th and avoided calamity on his final two holes to emerge a comfortable victor.

Sunshine Tour: Bautista wins 2nd Tour title by two

Australia's Austin Bautista book-ended his Eswatini Challenge campaign with rounds of 5-under 67 to earn a two-stroke victory at Ezulwini Golf & Country Club for his second Sunshine Tour title.
|
Frenchman Benjamin Kedochim was the frontrunner through 36 of the 54 holes to be contested after carding back-to-back 7-under 65s. This translated to a slender one-stroke advantage over Wynand Dingle with a round to play.
|
Both Kedochim and Dingle cooled off with closing 71s while Bautista burst through the field. After an opening bogey, he collected birdies at the 2nd, 3rd, 5th and 7th to turn in 3-under 33.
|
|
He may have made two bogeys on the inward-half at the 14th and 18th but a clutch of birdies, four in all, helped him pip Herman Loubser and Dylan Mostert, both of whom shot 67, to share 2nd with Kedochim.

Korn Ferry Tour: Steelman wins second title of 2026 at Boise Open

Ross Steelman won his second title of 2026 when he secured a three-stroke win in the Boise Open at Hillcrest Counttryb Club via a 7-under 64 in the final round.
|
Th American led through three rounds after opening with a 6-under 65 before back-to-back 64s.
|
|
He turned his two shot lead into a three-shot margin of victory thanks to a round which began with four birdies in his first five holes and featured four birdies on each nine. His only blemish, a bogey, came at the par-4 18th but that didn't take any gloss off what was a fine performance.

HotelPlanner Tour: Harding wins Irish Challenge

Justin Harding birdied two of his final four holes in a 1-under 71 which helped him to a one-stroke win in the Irish Challenge at Killeen Castle.
|
Through three rounds, Harding and compatriot Louis Albertse were tied on 12-under par. They were locked in an effective head-to-head battle for much of the final round too. Harding went out in 1-under 35 before overcoming a double-bogey at the 10th and a bogey at 14 with birdies at the 12th, 15th and 16th.
|
|
It was a shame that after Albertse kept pace with Harding throughout the day, the event was ultimately determined by the 29-year-old's bogey at the 72nd hole which enabled Harding to get over the line by the finest of margins.

PGA Tour Champions: Cink beats Jimenez for 5th title of 2026

Stewart Cink birdied the first extra hole of the Boeing Classic at Snoqualmie Ridge to defeat Miguel Angel Jimenez and win his fifth PGA Tour Champions title of the season.
|
The pair ended regulation tied on 12-under after some late fireworks from Jimenez. Birdies at each of his final six holes helped him to an 8-under 64 while Cink had eight birdies in a 65.
|
|
He'd find one more at the par-5 18th in the playoff while his Spanish counterpart could do no better than par.

Somerset West Open: Cruickshank beats Le Roux in 4-hole sudden-death playoff
|
|
|
Cole Cruickshank outduelled Western Province IPT teammate Shaun Le Roux, winning the Somerset West Open at the fourth extra hole.
|
Cruickshank played the first four holes of round one in 4-under par courtesy of birdies at the 1st and 4th along with an eagle at the 3rd. He'd play the balance of the round level-par and round 2 in 1-under par for a tournament tally of 5-under.
|
Le Roux opened with a morning round of 2-under 70. Teeing off on the 10th, he collected five birdies in an afternoon round of 69 which featured four birdies in a five hole stretch from the 1st to tie Cruickshank.
|

There was no separating the pair over three additional holes of sudden-death. On the fourth playoff hole, the par-4 18th, Le Roux was unable to save par from short right of the green while Cruickshank two putted for the victory.
