PGA Tour/DP World Tour: Kim ends victory drought with Scottish Open win

Tom Kim shot a bogey-free 6-under 64 which saw him come from a shot behind to prevail by two in the Scottish Open at Renaissance Club.
|
In an event affected by lengthy fog delays, Bob MacIntyre, Min Woo Lee and Matt Fitzpatrick installed themselves as the joint front-runners on a Sunday which saw rounds 3 and 4 needing to be completed.
|
Lee fared the best among the leading trio in the final round, carding a 3-under 67 while his co-leaders could do no better than a pair of 1-under 69s in the final round.
|

Instead it was to be Kim's Day. The American collected three birdies over his first seven holes. Another three dropped at the 10th, 12th and 16th and the absence of any blemishes ensured he earned his first title since the 2023 Shriner's Children Open.

PGA Tour: Fisk beats Pendrith in ISCO Championship playoff

Steven Fisk parred the third extra-hole to defeat Taylor Pendrith in the ISCO Championship at Hurstbourne Country Club.
|
The pair finished regulation tied on 16-under par, Fisk closing out his tournament with a 3-under 67 and Pendrith a 65.
|
Lucas Glover - who opened his week with rounds of 63, 64 and 68 had led by a shot through 54 holes but could do no better than a 1-over final round.
|
|
Fisk and Pendrith parred the first two playoff holes. Pendrith's challenge was undone by a bogey-5 on their third trip down 18, Fisk's four securing the victory.

LPGA Tour: Ryu beats Henderson in Evian Championship playoff

Haeran Ryu birdied the first playoff hole to defeat Brooke Henderson in the Evian Championship played at Evian Golf Resort in France.
|
Ryu's challenge burst into life with a third round 11-under 60 which followed rounds of 66 and 68, enabling the South Korean to. build a three-shot advantage.
|
Henderson played phenomenally over the weekend. A Saturday 64 was followed by another on Sunday, highlighted by an astonishing eagle-ace sequence at the 8th and 9th before the Canadian punched her playoff ticket with another eagle-3 at at the 18th.
|
Ryu meanwhile birdied the 18th to match Henderson's 19-under par tournament total.

Henderson was unable to replicate her 72nd brilliance, having to settle for par while Ryu won her second Major in a row following her Women's PGA Championship triumph.

Korn Ferry Tour: Steelman claims Blue Championship win

Ross Steelman earned his maiden Korn Ferry Tour title by amassing a tournament tally of 22-under par in the Blue Championship at TPC Colorado.

The American made a brilliant start to his week with rounds of 6-under 66, 67 and 65 helping him to a two-stroke advantage through 54 holes.
|
In the final round, Steelman overcame drops at the 4th and 5th by picking up birdies at the 5th, 6th and 9th.
|
|
The blemish-free back-nine which followed and featured three more red numbers saw Steelman sign for a 68 and a one-shot win over Tommy Morrison who closed with a 67.

HotelPlanner Tour: 59 powers Van Der Vight German Challenge victory

A second round 13-under 59 saw Lars Van Der Vight power to a 5-shot lead through 36 holes of the German Challenge before the Dutchman rounded off a two-stroke win at Wittelsbacher Golfclub.

Van Der Vight's memorable Friday featured an eye-popping eight birdies on the front nine before a further three on the back-nine were complemented by a handy eagle-3 in what was a blemish-free round.
|
|
His lead may have been trimmed to three through 54 holes after a level-par round but it was not to be a lead he'd relinquish. He collected six birdies on the final day which helped combat the potential issues posed by two bogeys and a double-bogey as the Dutchman ultimately prevailed by two from last week's runner-up, Julien Sale, who charged up the leaderboard with a Sunday 65.

Kaulig Champs: Johnson wins first Senior Major

Zach Johnson won the first PGA Tour Champions Major of his career when he captured the Kaulig Championship by six shots at Firestone Country Club.

In the final PGA Tour-sanctioned event at the course for the foresseable future, the former Masters and Open champion put on a scoring masterclass. He began the week with a pair of 3-under 67s before a Saturday 63 meant he held a commanding four-shot advantage into Sunday.
|
|
It was fitting that Johnson should cap a dominant display with birdies at each of his final three holes to sign for a 2-under 68, leaving Boo Weekley (66) in a distant 2nd-place.
